Based on The Canterbury Tales if I lived during that time I would have chosen to be a knight. I would have chosen to be a knight because you would have your life planned out and it represents strength. To be a knight you have to be strong and you provide protection. So the knight is someone that can be looked up to and that’s always a positive thing.
My occupation would be a knight. So by being a knight it would be required for me to be strong and loyal. My job would be look after the king or lord in charge. My days would consist of training in order to build up and have strength. My challenges as a knight would be that I would have to go through rough training and be able to protect others before myself. As a Knight I wouldn’t really have a family life because my main priority would be to look after the king or others it would consist of mostly training and working for the king. My values and morals would mostly consist of looking after everyone but myself and put everyone’s protection in front of my own safety. In the future after my training I would of like to settle down with a family like for example I would have tried making a future with the princess.
Being a Knight would be hard work and it would require loyalty. I think I would have chosen that out of all the parts because you wouldn’t be poor and you had a good descent job. I think it would be great also because you would resemble something strong and you would be someone people can look up to and be looked for protection. The only negative thing would be that you would have to constantly worry about being hurt and you would have to think of everyone else but yourself as in your safety.
